About this Visa

This permit allows you to live in Malta while working remotely for a company in another country. It is perfect for digital nomads, freelancers, and remote employees who want to experience life in Europe. You get to enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle without needing a local Maltese job. With this permit, you can travel freely across the Schengen Area for up to 90 days at a time. However, you cannot work for Maltese clients or companies. It is strictly for people whose income comes from outside Malta. The program is currently ACTIVE and popular.
