About this Visa

This is Mexico's investment visa for people who want to invest in Mexican businesses or real estate while living there legally. You invest capital, get temporary residency for up to 4 years, then apply for permanent residency and citizenship. It's designed for entrepreneurs and investors with capital to deploy. You can work anywhere without restriction, bring your family, and have a legal path to becoming a Mexican citizen in about 5 years. After 4 years of temporary residency, you automatically qualify to apply for permanent status—no additional investment needed. This visa is ACTIVE and accepting applications as of December 2025. It has not been discontinued or suspended.

Add $690 USD per dependent.
