About this Visa
This visa lets you live and work in Mexico for up to four years. You need a Mexican employer to sponsor you—you can't apply alone. It's for foreign workers who have a real job offer from a Mexican company. The visa gives you the right to work legally in Mexico. You can also open a bank account, register a car, and see a doctor. After four years, you can apply to become a permanent resident.
