About this Visa

The Sarawak-Malaysia My Second Home (S-MM2H) visa lets you live in Sarawak, Malaysia for 10 years. It is designed for retirees and people over 50 who want a long-term home in Southeast Asia. You get a multiple-entry visa, so you can travel in and out of the country freely. This visa is special because it is cheaper and easier to get than the main Malaysian federal visa. You must live in Sarawak for at least 30 days each year, but you can travel to the rest of Malaysia anytime. It does not give you permanent residency or citizenship. This program is currently ACTIVE with new rules that started in 2025. The main change is that you now need more savings in the bank to qualify.
