About this Visa

This visa lets you visit New Zealand for short business trips. It's for people who want to negotiate deals, attend meetings, or discuss business opportunities. You cannot work for a New Zealand employer or get paid for work in New Zealand. The visa is active and accepting applications. You can visit for up to 3 months at a time. If you're from an English-speaking country like Australia, USA, Canada, or the UK, you might not need this visa—you can apply for a simpler online approval instead (NZeTA). One big advantage: As of January 2025, you can work remotely for your overseas boss or clients while visiting New Zealand.
