About this Visa
This visa is for artists, musicians, dancers, athletes, and cultural experts who are famous internationally. You can come to New Zealand to work in your field for up to 30 months. You don't need a job offer. You can work for any employer, work freelance, or run your own business. This visa is open to people from every country in the world. What makes this visa special: It doesn't care if New Zealand needs workers in your field. You only need to prove you're exceptionally talented and have an international reputation.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 55 years old or younger
- Must have exceptional talent in art, culture, or sport with international recognition
- Must be actively working in your field
- Must have support from major NZ organization in your field
- Must have acceptable financial sponsor
- Must have no serious criminal record
- Must be healthy with no serious contagious diseases
- Must be honest on application
Financial Requirement
Sponsor must guarantee NZD $400/month (with housing) or NZD $1,000/month (without housing). Applicant must show approximately NZD $4,200 in personal savings.
