About this Visa

The ICT (Intra-Corporate Transferee) visa lets companies move their non-European employees to work at their Dutch office. Your employer must sponsor you—you can't apply alone. This visa is for managers, specialists, and trainees working for multinational companies. You can live and work in the Netherlands for your company during your assignment. Your family (spouse and children) can come with you and work too. This visa is faster and simpler than some other work visas because your employer handles most of the paperwork. This is a temporary visa. It doesn't count toward becoming a Dutch citizen. But after 3 years on this visa, you can apply for a different permit that does lead to citizenship.
