About this Visa
This visa lets you work in Norway for temporary seasonal jobs. It's for people from non-European countries who want to work on farms, in forests, in tourism, or in seafood processing. You can work for 6 months total, then you must leave Norway for 6 months before you can come back. The permit is not a stepping stone to permanent residency or citizenship. It's temporary only.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Be 18 or older
- Have a real seasonal job offer
- Work in agriculture, forestry, fishing, tourism, or horticulture
- Have no criminal record
- Have accommodation arranged
- Have valid health insurance
- Show you will return home after work ends
- Earn at least Norway's standard wage for your job type
Financial Requirement
Your employer must pay you at least Norway's standard wage for your job type. If not working, prove you have approximately 2.5 times Norway's basic insurance amount saved. Working full-time at agreed wage automatically satisfies this.
