About this Visa
You invest NZD 5-10 million in New Zealand (stocks, bonds, property, businesses) and hold the investment passively. You do not manage any business. You become a resident while your money stays invested. You only need to visit 3-21 days per year depending on investment level. After 3-5 years, you can apply for permanent residency. After 5 years as a permanent resident, you can apply for citizenship. This visa is for wealthy passive investors. Spouse and dependent children (under 24) can be included. You get work rights anywhere in New Zealand, access to public healthcare, and free education for children.
