About this Visa
This visa allows you to live in Panama if your close family member is already a resident or citizen. It is designed for spouses, children, and dependent parents who want to move to Panama together. Once approved, you get temporary residency for two years. After that, you can apply for permanent residency. It is one of the most common ways for families to settle in Panama.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be the spouse, child, or dependent parent of a resident
- Must have no criminal record
- Children must be under 18 (or 18-25 if single student)
- Must be free of contagious diseases
- Sponsor must already hold a residency card
Financial Requirement
Your sponsor (family member) must prove they earn at least $1,000 USD per month plus $100 per dependent, or show a bank balance of roughly $5,000+.
