About this Visa

This visa lets foreign workers move to Panama to work as researchers, teachers, or technicians in the City of Knowledge area, a special business zone. You need a job offer from a certified City of Knowledge company before applying. Unlike many Panama visas, it does not require you to be wealthy or prove large savings. Your salary and job are what matter. This is a temporary work visa. You can renew it indefinitely every 2-3 years. After 2 years of residency, you can apply for permanent residence.
