About this Visa
The Rentista Visa lets you live permanently in Peru if you have passive income from outside the country. You need at least $1,000 per month from sources like pensions, investments, or rental income. This visa is for retirees and people with steady passive income who want to live in Peru long-term. Once approved, your visa never expires. You get permanent residency without annual renewals. You can bring your spouse and children with you. You cannot work or earn money in Peru on this visa. It is only for people living on income from abroad.

Financial Requirement
Must have $1,000 per month in passive income from outside Peru. Accepted sources: pensions, rental income, investment dividends, interest, trust payments. Not accepted: work salary, freelance income, business income. If you have spouse or children, add $500 per month for each dependent.
