About this Visa

This visa lets you start and run a business in Poland for longer than 3 months. You get it from the Polish consulate in your home country, then convert it to a residence permit once you arrive in Poland. This is for entrepreneurs and business owners from non-EU countries who want to work for themselves in Poland. The visa gives you the right to own a company, manage a business, and make business decisions. You can hire employees and participate fully in the Polish economy. It also opens doors to the broader European Union market through your Polish business. This is different from work visas because you're self-employed, not hired by a company. It's more complex than a tourist visa because Poland checks your business plan and finances carefully. But it's a real pathway to living permanently in Poland and eventually becoming a Polish citizen.
