About this Visa

This is a residency visa for investors. You invest money in Portugal, and you get the right to live there. It's designed for people from outside Europe who have significant savings or investment capital. Once approved, you can live in Portugal, work, and bring your family. You can travel freely across 29 European countries without needing extra visas. This visa is active and available right now. Portugal changed it in October 2023 by removing real estate options, but other investments are still open.

  • Must have no criminal record
  • Cannot be on EU sanctions lists

  • Must have health insurance minimum €30,000 coverage
  • Investment funds must come from outside Portugal
  • Must be able to maintain investment for 5 years
