About this Visa
Paraguay gives you a 2-year residency card if you want to live there. You can work, start a business, or just live there. You don't need to have a job or show lots of money. Eligibility Criteria
- 18 years old or older
- Clean background with no serious crimes
- Good physical and mental health
- Valid passport
- No language requirement (Spanish helpful but not required)
- No work experience or education required
- No minimum income requirement
- Must not be on international watch lists
- WARNING: Starting January 1 2026 - cannot be absent more than 365 consecutive days during residency or permanent residency application is blocked
