About this Visa

This visa lets you bring your family to live with you in Qatar if you work there. You need a good job and decent salary to qualify. Your spouse and unmarried children under 18 can come with you. It's a family sponsorship visa—your family stays only while you work there. If you lose your job or leave, your family must go too. You can renew it every year if you still meet the requirements. This is NOT a path to permanent residency or citizenship. It's for temporary family living only.

Eligibility & Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have valid Qatar ID (residence permit)
  • Work in technical or specialized job (NOT labor jobs)
  • Meet minimum salary requirement
  • Have housing (rental or employer-provided)
  • Clean criminal record
  • Have health insurance (mandatory)
  • Spouse can be any age if legally married
  • Sons must be under 18 years old and unmarried
  • Daughters must be unmarried (no age limit)
  • Parents require special Ministry of Interior approval

Financial Requirement

Minimum salary: Government job with housing from employer (no minimum); Government job without housing QR 10,000/month ($2,750); Private job with housing QR 6,000/month ($1,650); Private job without housing QR 10,000/month ($2,750)
