About this Visa
This visa lets you live and work in Qatar. Your employer applies for it on your behalf. You must work for that specific employer—you can't switch jobs easily without permission from them. It's the main visa foreign workers use in Qatar, whether you're in construction, oil and gas, banking, or other jobs. After 5 years, you can change employers more freely. Before that, your employer controls your visa.
