You need this visa if you're not from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland. It's different from study or work visas because you can use it for many different reasons. Financial Requirement
You must prove you have money to support yourself. General purposes: around €1,750 per month ($2,055 USD). Digital nomads: €3,854 per month ($4,536 USD). Volunteers: €1,750 per month - the organization helps, but you need savings too. Medical treatment: enough money to pay for your treatment. You show this with bank statements, job letters, or tax returns from the last 6 months.
