About this Visa
This visa lets you study at a Romanian university or school. It's for students from outside the European Union who want to live in Romania while studying. You can work part-time and travel around Europe while you study. This visa is popular because it's easy to get (Romania approves 90% of applications) and costs very little. Once you get it, you can travel freely through 26 European countries without needing another visa.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be accepted to study at a Romanian university
- Must have €815 per month in bank account minimum
- Must not have a criminal record
- Must have valid health insurance
- Must be at least 13 years old (no upper age limit)
- Must have proof of accommodation in Romania
Financial Requirement
Must show €815 per month for each month of intended study. Example: For 12-month academic year, approximately €9,780 in bank account plus proof of first year tuition payment.
