About this Visa
This visa allows non-EU scientists and researchers to work and live in Romania. You must work for a Romanian university or research institution that approved your project. Your employer must get official approval from Romania's research authority first. The visa is designed for researchers from outside Europe. You can only work on your approved research—no other jobs allowed. Once you have approval, getting the visa is straightforward.

Financial Requirement
You must have 4,050 RON per month (~$685). Show this with your salary from the research job, bank savings, or sponsorship letter from employer.
