About this Visa
This permit lets you move to Sweden to live with a family member already there. Your sponsor must prove they earn enough money to support you. Once approved, you can work and bring your spouse or children with you. The permit is still active. Sweden made the rules stricter in October 2025, requiring higher income and better housing. This visa takes longer to process than other types. This visa is different because it focuses on family unity, not your job or skills. It requires extensive documentation and proof of financial support from your Swedish sponsor.
