About this Visa

This permit lets non-EU students come to Sweden to study at a university or college. You can work 20 hours per week while studying, and full-time during school breaks. You can bring your spouse and children with you.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Accepted to full-time study program at recognized institution
  • Can prove ability to pay living costs and tuition
  • Program duration is 3 months or longer
  • Non-EU/EEA citizen
  • No serious criminal record
  • No minimum or maximum age requirement

Financial Requirement

Must show at least $1,138 USD per month (10,584 SEK) for entire study duration. Can be bank account, scholarship, loan, or sponsor letter.
