About this Visa
The Serbia Type D student visa lets you study at Serbian universities or language schools for more than 3 months. When you arrive, you switch from a visa to a temporary residence permit that lasts up to 3 years. It's one of Europe's cheapest places to study, with low tuition and living costs. You can use this visa for a bachelor's degree, master's degree, PhD, or language course. The visa is still active and accepting applications as of December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must have acceptance letter from Serbian university or language school
- Must have enough money to support yourself approximately $1,500 or more
- Must have no serious criminal record
- Must pass basic health check with no contagious diseases
- Must intend to actually study
- No language requirement, English is acceptable
