About this Visa
The Training Work Permit is a short-term visa for foreign students or trainees. It allows you to get practical, hands-on training in Singapore for a specific job. This pass is mainly for semi-skilled roles, like hotel staff or factory workers. It is strictly for training, not regular work. Your employer in Singapore must apply for you, and they must have "quota" (available spots) to hire you. You cannot renew this pass or use it to stay in Singapore permanently.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a full-time student OR an employee of a related overseas company
- Training must be part of your school course or job development
- Cannot have a criminal record
- Must be medically fit
