About this Visa
This visa lets you stay in Slovenia for longer than 90 days. You apply at a Slovenian embassy before traveling. Once it expires, it cannot be extended—you must apply again if you want to stay longer. The visa is for people who want to work, study, or live with family in Slovenia. If you have Slovenian parents or grandparents, you get special benefits. After arriving on this visa, you apply for a residence permit. If you have Slovenian heritage, the permit becomes permanent much faster than normal. This visa alone does NOT let you work. You need a separate work permit after you get a residence permit.
