About this Visa
This is a long-stay visa that lets you enter Slovenia to volunteer with an organization for a year. You cannot work for money, but you participate in volunteer programs and exchange activities. It is designed for people from outside Europe who want to volunteer. Anyone 18 years old or older from any country (except EU/EEA countries) can apply. You need an invitation from a volunteer organization in Slovenia that wants you to work there. You can do unpaid volunteer work and cannot take a paid job. You can travel to other European countries once you get your residence permit. You can stay in Slovenia legally for up to one year, and can renew if the organization wants to keep you.
