About this Visa
This visa lets you study at a Slovenian university for up to one year. It's for non-European students who want to earn a degree or take exchange programs. Once you get this visa, you can also work part-time while studying and eventually stay permanently if you want. This visa is a long-stay visa, which means you get it before you arrive. It's different from a tourist visa because it lets you live and study legally for a full year. After one year, you can extend by switching to a residence permit if your studies continue.

You must show you have at least $535/month to support yourself. This can be a bank account, scholarship, or parent's support letter.
