About this Visa

The Student Pass is Singapore's visa for international students studying full-time at approved schools. Once accepted, you can study, work, and live in Singapore for your entire course. What makes it special: work rights are automatically included—you don't need a separate work permit, and you can apply for permanent residence after passing just one national exam. This visa is different because it comes with work permission built in. You can also apply for permanent residence after passing one national exam, without waiting years like other visas require. Students receive automatic digital pass access via mobile app. Work authorization includes both part-time term-time employment (16 hours/week) and unlimited holiday work, with no separate permit required.
