About this Visa
This visa lets researchers work in Slovakia when a research organization invites you. You work on your project while living there. Anyone with a research position at a Slovak university or research center can apply. All nationalities can apply—there are no country restrictions. Work without a separate permit. Bring your spouse and kids (they can work too). Travel around Europe. Switch to a regular job visa later. Build toward permanent residency. It's cheaper and faster than most visas. The application is completely free. You only need one criminal record from one country. Takes just 30 days.
