About this Visa
The D-10-1 visa lets you stay in South Korea while searching for a job in professional fields like teaching, research, tech, or business. You can also do internships during your stay. This visa is perfect if you graduated from university and want to work in South Korea. You get time to find the right job without pressure. The government expanded this visa in October 2025—you now get up to 3 years to find work instead of 2 years. Important: This is not a work visa. You search for jobs on this visa, but cannot officially work until you get a job offer and switch to a work visa (E-1 through E-7).
