About this Visa
This visa lets you live and work in Spain as your own boss. You can start a business, freelance, or be self-employed. You don't need a Spanish employer. This visa is only for non-EU people. If you're from the EU, you don't need this visa—you can work freely in Spain already. The visa is active and accepting applications (December 2025). You can work legally, bring your family, and eventually get permanent residency or Spanish citizenship.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be at least 16 years old
- Be from a non-EU country
- Have no criminal record in last 5 years
- Have no serious contagious diseases
- Have minimum €600/month in savings
- Have qualifications or experience for your business
- Have a realistic business plan
- Not have overstayed a visa before
Financial Requirement
Minimum €600/month ($700/month). Show bank statements proving you have this money saved. If you bring a spouse, add €300/month. For each child, add €180/month.
