About this Visa
This visa lets you volunteer or intern in Sweden for up to 12 months. It's for people from outside EU/EEA countries. You can do unpaid volunteer work or a paid/unpaid internship. You need a job offer or volunteer placement before you apply. Important: This is NOT a work permit. You can only work at the specific volunteer job or internship listed in your application. You cannot have other jobs.

Eligibility Criteria
- From a non-EU/EEA country
- Have a volunteer or internship offer from a Swedish organization
- Have SEK 450/day minimum
- Have valid travel insurance
- No serious criminal record
- No history of visa fraud or overstaying
Financial Requirement
You need at least SEK 450 (~$48 USD) per day. For a 12-month stay: about SEK 164,250 (~$17,700 USD). You can show this with bank statements, pay stubs, or a letter from your host organization.
