About this Visa
This visa lets you stay in Taiwan for 6 months while you look for a job. You cannot work during this time—only search for employment. Once you find a job, you switch to a work visa. It's for people from other countries who want to move to Taiwan for work. The visa is for three types of people: those already earning good money, recent university graduates from top schools, or people approved by Taiwan's foreign ministry.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18 or older
- No serious criminal record
- Have at least NT$100,000 in savings
- Meet one eligibility condition: earn NT$47,971+/month, graduated from top 500 university in past year, or have Foreign Ministry approval
- Cannot be mainland China PRC national
- Cannot be born in mainland China PRC
