About this Visa
Taiwan's employment visa lets foreign professionals work and live in Taiwan. Your employer sponsors you, and the government gives you permission to work there. You can also bring your family and stay for several years. This visa is for people with college degrees or at least 5 years of work experience. The company that hires you must be registered with Taiwan's government and have enough money. The Gold Card is the most popular option. It's easier because you don't need an employer to sponsor you—you can change jobs whenever you want. You also get a 50% tax break for the first 3-5 years.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18 or older
- College degree OR 5+ years work experience
- Earn at least minimum salary required
- No criminal record
- Pass medical exam
- Have job offer from Taiwan company
- Cannot have been deported from Taiwan
- Cannot have serious criminal convictions
- Cannot have overstayed visa in Taiwan
- Cannot have worked illegally in Taiwan
