About this Visa
This visa lets you live in Thailand long-term if you invest money there. You can renew it every year as long as you keep your investment. Who is it for? People who want to invest at least 10 million baht (~$317,000) in Thailand and live there for a year or more. You can stay, travel in and out, and work (with a separate work permit). Your spouse and children can live with you too. As of August 31, 2025, this visa is now called "Non-Immigrant B (Business)" instead of "IM." The rules are the same.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age 18 or older
- Must have 10 million baht (~$317,460) to invest
- Money must come from outside Thailand with documented proof
- No serious criminal record
- No previous visa fraud or overstays
- No Thai language requirement
- No health certificate required
- No education requirement
Financial Requirement
Must invest 10 million Thai baht (~$317,460). You can invest in: a bank savings account in Thailand, Thai government bonds, a new condo (you own it), or rental property (3+ year agreement). You can mix and match to reach 10 million baht. You must keep this money invested the whole time.
