About this Visa
This is a retirement visa for people 50 and older. It lets you stay in Thailand for 10 years without working. You need to prove you have steady income from pensions, investments, or savings—not a job. Retirees aged 50+ with at least USD 80,000 per year in passive income (pensions, rental income, dividends, interest). Or people with USD 40,000 income plus USD 250,000 invested in Thailand. You get 10 years to live in Thailand. You can come and go freely. You only report to immigration once a year instead of every 90 days. You don't need to work, but you can if you want a work permit.
