About this Visa

This is a long-term visa for remote workers employed by overseas companies. You work for a company outside Thailand while living in Thailand. It is designed for skilled professionals who earn good money working online for foreign employers. The visa lets you stay in Thailand for up to 10 years. You can work without getting a separate work permit. You pay taxes only on money you earn outside Thailand—income from overseas is tax-free. This visa is special because it is specifically for remote workers. You do not need to find a Thai job or get permission from the Thai government to work. As long as you work for an overseas company from your Thailand home, you are fine.
