About this Visa
The ED visa is for people who want to study in Thailand. You can study at any level—from language classes to university degrees. You can also use this visa for internships or training programs. This visa is active and available to everyone, no matter which country you're from. The main thing to remember: you must actually go to classes and study. Thailand is now checking to make sure students really attend their programs. Key update for 2025: Schools now report attendance monthly to immigration. If you don't attend class, your school can cancel your visa.
