About this Visa

This visa lets international students do an internship in Thailand as part of their school program. You need to be enrolled in a real school or university and have an internship that your school requires you to do. The internship must be with a Thai company or organization. The main thing this visa does: it lets you stay in Thailand legally while you intern. You cannot work a normal job on this visa—only your required school internship. This visa is different from a tourist visa because you can stay much longer (up to 1 year) and do work as part of your studies. It's different from a work visa because you don't need to find a company first—your school sets it up for you.
