About this Visa
This visa is for people who invest money in approved businesses in Thailand. You can work and manage your investment. It's for foreign investors, executives, and technical experts in industries like technology, automotive, renewable energy, and aviation. The visa lets you stay long-term and bring your family. You can renew it yearly if you keep your investment. After 3 years, you can apply for permanent residence. In August 2025, Thailand renamed this from "IB visa" to "Non-Immigrant B visa" (Business category). The rules stayed the same—only the name changed.
