The Non-Immigrant O-A visa is a long-stay visa for people aged 50 and over who want to retire in Thailand. It allows you to stay in the country for up to one year without working. You can come and go as many times as you like because it includes multiple entries. This visa is designed for retirees applying from their home country before they travel to Thailand. It is different from other retirement visas because it requires you to buy expensive health insurance. However, it gives you a longer stay immediately upon arrival compared to other options.
