About this Visa
This visa lets you live in Thailand for up to 10 years without working. It's designed for retirees aged 50 or older who have enough money saved. You don't need a job—you just need savings in a Thai bank. The visa works in two stages: 5 years first, then you can extend for another 5 years. You can stay continuously without leaving Thailand, and you can travel in and out freely. Each trip out requires a simple re-entry permit. This visa is only available to people from 14 specific countries. If you're from a different country, you'll need to apply for the O-A visa instead (which is for 1 year only).
