About this Visa

The LTR visa lets remote workers live in Thailand long-term. You must work for a company outside Thailand and earn at least USD 80,000 per year. This visa is different from tourist visas. It gives you the right to live and work in Thailand legally. You can stay for 10 years (5 years, then renew for 5 more). The visa includes your spouse and children. You can bring unlimited family members. You don't need to leave Thailand often—you get an annual reporting date instead of monthly check-ins.
