About this Visa
This visa is for wealthy people who want to live in Thailand for a long time. You need at least $1 million in savings and must invest $500,000 in Thailand. The Thai government created this visa to attract wealthy foreigners to live and invest in the country. This visa lets you stay in Thailand for 10 years (you renew it once for another 5 years). You can work, bring your family, and travel in and out of Thailand whenever you want. Unlike some other Thai visas, you don't need to report to immigration every 90 days—only once a year. This is different from other long-term visas because it doesn't require an active job in Thailand. You just need to be rich and willing to invest money there. It's designed for retired people, business owners, and investors from around the world.
