About this Visa

This is a student visa for people studying in Thailand. You get it when you enroll in a Thai school, university, language program, or internship. It lets you stay while you learn. You cannot work at a job. There is also "ED Plus" for university students (bachelor's degree or above). It is easier to renew and you can leave/return to Thailand without special permission. No countries are completely banned. Citizens of Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, Sri Lanka, and most Middle Eastern countries must apply at the Thai Embassy in their home country.

20,000 Thai Baht (~$590 USD) minimum. Family: 40,000 Baht (~$1,175 USD). Show 6 months of bank statements.
