About this Visa
The Course Purpose Visa lets you take short-term courses in Turkey. This includes professional training, technical courses, or specialized programs (not university degrees). You can stay while you complete your course and then leave or apply for another visa type. You can take classes, live in Turkey legally, and access basic services like opening a bank account. After your course ends, you can extend your stay by getting a work permit or other visa if you want to stay longer. This visa is different from a student visa for university. The student visa is for degree programs. This course visa is for shorter training programs that companies, language schools, or professional institutes offer.
