About this Visa
This visa lets you stay in Taiwan for 6 months while you look for a job. You do NOT need a job before you apply. You can interview with companies and search for work freely. This visa is for two types of people: recent graduates from top universities, OR people with work experience and good income history. You must have enough money to support yourself. The visa is temporary. Once you find a job, you convert it to a work visa and can stay longer.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Have work experience with at least NT$47,971/month average income over past 6 months OR graduated within past year from top 500 university (QS, Times Higher Education, or US News rankings)
- Have at least NT$100,000 in savings
- No criminal record within past 5 years
- Must have health insurance for entire stay
- Must demonstrate proof of intent to seek employment
