About this Visa

The UK Student Visa is your permission to live, study, and work part-time in the United Kingdom. You use it to pursue a full-time degree—bachelor's, master's, or PhD—at a UK university. What it lets you do: Attend classes at any licensed UK institution, work 20 hours per week during the school year, work full-time during university holidays, access free NHS healthcare (doctors, hospital, mental health), travel within the UK without restrictions, change universities or courses if needed. After finishing: Stay for 2 years to work (3 years if PhD). Why it's special: It's the main way international students come to the UK, and it has one of the highest success rates (95%) among UK visas. The government clearly publishes all requirements, so if you prepare properly, you'll likely be approved.
