About this Visa
The K-3 visa lets you enter the US while waiting for your immigrant visa. You must be married to a US citizen. Once approved, you can move to the US and later become a permanent resident. This visa is rarely used today because it takes just as long as getting an immigrant visa directly. Only a few people get this visa each year.
