The O-1 visa lets you work in the United States if you are one of the best in your field. This includes scientists, athletes, artists, business leaders, teachers, and entertainers. You must show you have extraordinary ability—meaning you are in the top of your profession. This visa is for people with national or international fame or recognition, not regular workers.
